Our ethos

We believe that all dogs should enjoy their holidays as much as we do!

Although our kennels are luxurious, welcoming and spotlessly clean, its the physical and mental wellbeing of our guests that’s paramount.  

We are genuine dog lovers and will do whatever necessary to ensure all our guests have a wonderful time while they are here.  

Unlike many other kennels dogs holidaying with us will be outside having fun the majority of the day - they will definitely be tired by bedtime.

Their stay with us

We have converted two of our barns adjoining our home to create 15 luxury dog boarding rooms to accommodate your dogs.  

In building our dream boarding kennels, our criteria was simple - that our luxury kennels would have to be somewhere that we would be happy to send our own dogs, so we have created precisely that!

Safe Space

The rooms lead out onto one of two large securely enclosed walled courtyards. The perfect place for dogs to play and socialise or just lounge around watching the world go by.

Having 14 dogs of our own, all shapes, makes and sizes, it has been of utmost importance that our land is securely fenced. 

24hr onsite security - your dogs safety during their stay is our number one priority.

Suitability

We as people choose the holiday that best suits our needs and personalities - that is why dogs that are considered to be well socialised and enjoy the company of other dogs benefit the most from Happy Dog Holidays. 

While we are well versed in handling dogs from every kind of background in our rehoming/rehabilitation work, for the purpose of creating a safe and harmonious boarding environment dogs with aggression issues will not be accepted under any circumstances.
