Please bring your dogs own food (and medication if necessary). It is important your dogs normal diet is maintained throughout their stay to ensure a settled and positive experience.
If you wish to bring your dogs favourite treats please do!
Dogs need to be vaccinated against parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis and kennel cough - all vaccinations need to be administered at least 2 weeks prior to your dogs stay.
Please bring your vet’s vaccination card with you to show that your dog is up to date with its boosters. If forgotten, we will need to ring your vet to check that your dog is up to date.
First time visitors - You will need to complete registration form on arrival. Alternatively we can email this to you to complete and bring with you when dropping off your dogs.
So that your dog can settle in and enjoy their first day with us it is preferable that they arrive during morning opening hours.
Collection can be arranged for a suitable time when checking your dogs into Happy Dog Holidays.
Here at happy dog holidays our guests are able to roam freely under the supervision of Happy Dog Holidays staff.
Our grounds include 60 acres of open grassland, becks, a small pond area and various woodlands. We therefore require that dogs boarding with us are fit in both body, mind, and capable of navigating the natural surroundings under staff supervision.
We are required by our licensing authority to express that if you have any doubts pertaining to the physical or mental fitness of your dog(s) we suggest that the environment at Happy Dog Holidays may not be suitable for them.
